About this animal

The Vietnamese Centipede (Scolopendra subspinipes) is one of the most widespread giant centipede species in Asia, reaching 7–8 inches. Vibrant orange legs contrast with a dark dorsal surface. They are voracious feeders and will consume crickets, roaches, and small vertebrates. Handled only with tools — their speed and venom demand strict respect.

Advanced level: Requires significant keeper experience.
