About this animal

The Red-Eyed Tree Frog (Agalychnis callidryas) is perhaps the most iconic amphibian on the planet. Found in the rainforests of Central America, these arboreal frogs use their shocking red eyes as a startle defense. Brilliant lime-green bodies, blue-and-yellow flanks, and orange feet make them extraordinary display animals. Best kept in groups in tall, planted enclosures.

Intermediate level: Some prior experience recommended.
